100 Feet of Ramp in 2021!

Through our partnerships with local organizations like Home Depot, Hilti, Williams and the hard work from our volunteers, we have provide more than 100 feet of ramp for area seniors. These projects are part of our Home Safety program. This program support the Meals on Wheel's mission to go beyond just a meal. This. program is designed to help support independent living by completing projects from simple, minor home repairs to larger projects like accessibility ramps. Something as simple as a grab bar in a bathroom or a functioning smoke detector can greatly reduce the risk of injury to our elderly or disabled clients, helping them maintain the ability to care for themselves longer and more safely than before.

Special thanks to our volunteers Bennie, Forrest, and Colin for building this much-needed 14 foot ramp that took us over the 100 feet for 2021. And it's only May!
