- Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa
A Message from Calvin A. Moore

Dear Friends,
Leading Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa is more than just a job to me – it’s an extension of my mission to help others and support their right to live free from hunger and isolation. This mission has guided my work and has allowed the organization to grow into one of the largest and most effective providers of critical services that aides thousands of homebound and food insecure neighbors across the state.
My passion for this work and our greater Meals on Wheels family makes it all the more difficult to share some personal news. After seven years leading this impressive organization, it is time for me to begin a new chapter. I have formally accepted the position of president and CEO at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. I will assume responsibilities there on February 1, 2022.
I can assure you that I did not take this decision lightly. Working with you, the board of directors, and our amazing staff has been a source of inspiration for me. The accomplishments and innovations are a direct result of your support. I can’t thank you enough for your investment in this team’s vision.
While I will miss working with Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa in the capacity of president and CEO, I look forward to continuing my involvement as vice-chair for Meals on Wheels America and serving with my fellow members of the Meals on Wheels of Oklahoma Association.
The search for the next president and CEO is underway. I am confident in the ability of the leadership team and staff to keep our promises to the communities we serve, as we work to fill this position.
I look forward to your continued support as our community works together to address food insecurity across our region.
With deep gratitude,
Calvin A. Moore President & CEO Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa
